      <title>MGT 416: Introduction to Continuity of Government Planning for Rural Jurisdictions (09/24/2026)</title>
      <description>&lt;p&gt;MGT 416: Introduction to Continuity of Government&amp;nbsp;Planning for Rural Jurisdictions&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Registration is required through the RDPC website. Visit &lt;strong&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.RuralTraining.org" target="_blank"&gt;www.RuralTraining.org&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Register no later than 2 weeks before the course date. A minimum of 20 registrations must be received by this date to ensure the class will be held.&lt;br&gt;
FEMA S.I.D. REQUIRED.&lt;br&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;MGT 416 is an 8-hour, DHS/FEMA-certified, tuition-free, planning&lt;br&gt;
and management-level course. This course is designed to help&lt;br&gt;
governmental officials and emergency responders in rural areas&lt;br&gt;
with the development of continuity plans that will help officials&lt;br&gt;
ensure essential governmental services remain functional across a&lt;br&gt;
spectrum of emergencies. This course will expose participants to&lt;br&gt;
the benefits of developing continuity of government plans for rural&lt;br&gt;
communities with special focus on succession planning, delegation&lt;br&gt;
of authority, redundant communications, and alternate facilities.&lt;/p&gt;
