Training: Severe Weather Spotter Seminar

Polk County Emergency Management along with the National Weather Service will be hosting a severe weather spotter seminar on Tuesday evening, April 3rd, beginning at 7 pm.  This even coincides with Severe Weather Awareness Week across Iowa.

 

It will be held at the Polk County Emergency Operations Center (EOC), 1907 Carpenter Ave., Des Moines, IA. Attendees should enter the building using the entrance on the east side of the building. 

 

The seminar is free, open to the public, and anyone with an interest in severe weather should attend this interesting event.  For more information check out the NWS website or the Polk County Emergency Management Facebook page for more information.
