  • Webinar

EMForum.org is pleased to host a one hour presentation and interactive discussion Wednesday, November 9, 2011, beginning at 12:00 Noon Eastern time (please convert to your local time). Our topic will be the Tennessee Fusion Center (TFC), named "Fusion Center of the Year" by the Department of Homeland Security during 2011. The TFC was singled out among the 72 fusion centers across the country for its progress in analyzing and sharing information among federal, state, and local partners.

Our guest will be Steve Hewitt, Co-director of the TFC, and Supervisory Intelligence Officer with the Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security. Mr. Hewitt joined the agency in 2006 to stand up the fusion center jointly with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation. He previously served with the Nashville Metropolitan Police Department including assignment to the Nashville-FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force. He currently holds a number of appointments related to the work of fusion centers.

Please make plans to join us, and see the Background Page for related materials and Instructions. If this will be your first time to participate, please check your connection at least a day in advance by clicking on the Live Meeting Login link. The Live Meeting client must be used in order to access the audio.

As always, please feel free to extend this invitation to your colleagues.
