Webinar: Emergency Alert System Preparations for the National Test

The webinar topic will be the Emergency Alert System (EAS) and preparations for an upcoming national test of a presidential alert using live codes. Although the test has not been scheduled, it is expected to occur during the latter half of 2011 and planning is already underway. FEMA is in the process of conducting a National Dialogue on EAS-related topics and will host a Virtual Roundtable on June 9th.

The guest speaker is Manual Centeno, Program Manager with FEMA's Integrated Public Alert and Warning System program and project manager for the EAS National test.
