Course Description:
This 1-day course will provide the knowledge and skills in social media and its uses with current tools, methods, and models to properly make use of social media for crisis communication.

Course Target Audience:
This course is targeted for a broad cross section of individuals and professionals interested and involved in emergency management, planners, as well as communication and public information personnel.
Additional Information:
1) Students should bring a wifi or cellular enabled laptop or tablet 2) Participants must have or create a Twitter & a Facebook account before class in order to attend the course and must be able to post test messages during the course on the accounts. 3) Lunch and travel on your own
